Litejoy Games UG (haftungsbeschränkt) ("Litejoy Games," "we," "us," or "our") is an entertainment company dedicated to publishing engaging mobile games.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you play our mobile games, use our applications, or visit our corporate website. Transparency is important to us, and we want you to understand exactly what happens to your data.

A Note to Minors: If you are under 16 years of age, you are not permitted to use our games or applications. If you are 16 or older but still a minor, please review this policy with a parent or legal guardian to ensure you fully understand it.

1. Information We Collect in Our Apps and Games

We design our games to collect as little personal data as possible. We do not collect information that directly identifies you in the real world (such as your real name or physical address). Instead, we collect technical identifiers to recognize your device.

More details

Information We Collect Directly

When you play our games, we may collect:

  • Device and Connection Information: Technical details such as your device model, operating system (OS), system language, time zone, screen resolution, battery level, available storage, and your connection type (e.g., Wi-Fi or cellular).
  • Identifiers: Your IP address, device identifiers (such as IDFV for iOS or Android ID), and your Mobile Advertising ID (Apple IDFA or Google AAID). Note: You can control or reset your Advertising ID at any time through your device settings.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our games, such as your session lengths, in-game progress, milestones reached, and how you interact with the advertisements shown within the app.
  • Third-Party Login Data: If you choose to log in using a third-party service (like Apple or Google) to save your progress across devices, we receive a securely hashed version of your email address. We use this strictly for account recovery and customer support.

Information We Receive From Third Parties

If you discover our games by clicking on an advertisement we placed on a third-party platform, we receive attribution information from that network (see the Advertising Partners listed in Section 3) and our Mobile Measurement Partner (Singular). This data does not identify you personally. It typically includes your device identifier, the specific ad campaign you interacted with, and your general location (such as your country). We use this information solely to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

2. How We Use Your Data (and Our Legal Basis)

Under data protection laws like the GDPR, we must have a valid legal reason to process your information. We use your data to provide you with the services you asked for, to run analytics to improve our products, and to serve personalized advertising.

More details
  • To Operate the Game (Legitimate Interest / Performance of a Contract): We use your data to provide the basic functionalities of the game, such as saving your progress so you can access the next level. This is strictly necessary to deliver the service you requested.
  • To Process Purchases, Prevent Fraud, and Provide Support (Performance of a Contract & Legitimate Interest): When you make an In-App Purchase, we collect transaction data and an internal user ID (UUID) to verify the receipt, deliver your items, prevent fraudulent transactions, and assist you if you contact customer support. We use our partner, Singular, as a secure data processor for this specific function. If you have declined consent for marketing and analytics, we actively restrict Singular from accessing your advertising identifiers (like the IDFA/GAID) and strictly prohibit them from sharing this purchase data with any third-party ad networks.
  • To Improve Our Products (Legitimate Interest & Consent): We analyze how players interact with our games so we can fix bugs, adjust difficulty levels, and improve the overall experience.
    • First-Party Analytics: We use our own internal tools based on our legitimate interest to improve our products. This data is not shared with external parties.
    • Third-Party Analytics: We work with external partners to help us analyze game performance. We will only share your data for this purpose if you have given us your express consent via our in-app pop-up notice.
  • To Serve Personalized Advertisements (Consent): To keep our games free to play, we show advertisements. With your express consent, we and our Advertising Partners use your Mobile Advertising ID to show you ads that are tailored to your interests. If you decline or withdraw your consent, you will still see ads, but they will be random and likely less relevant to you.
  • To Market Our Games (Consent): We want to know how you found our games. With your consent, we share basic device identifiers with our Mobile Measurement Partner (Singular) and our Advertising Partners to track marketing attribution and measure the success of our user acquisition campaigns.

Automated Decision-Making and Profiling: Our advertising partners may use automated profiling to determine which ads to show you. This profiling is based on your device identifiers and usage patterns. You can opt out at any time via the Privacy Settings in our games or your device's ad tracking settings.

3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Partners

We do not sell your personal information. However, to keep our games free and functioning smoothly, we share data with trusted third-party partners. We ensure these partners uphold strict data privacy standards.

More details

Depending on your consent preferences, we may share data with the following categories of partners. These partners often use their own Software Development Kits (SDKs) to collect data. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies:

Analytics, Backend, Cloud Storage, and Game Engine Partners

Companies that provide tools to help us understand game performance, manage remote configurations, store data securely, track marketing attribution, and power our game engine.

Advertising Partners

We partner with the following companies for two main reasons: (1) to fill our ad inventory so we can provide you with free games, and (2) to run and measure our own marketing campaigns when we advertise our games on their networks.

Legal Authorities

We will only share your data with law enforcement, government agencies, or regulatory bodies if we are legally obligated to do so.

4. Data Collection on Our Website

Our corporate website is a static, informational page hosted on Cloudflare. We respect your privacy and have designed our website to minimize data collection.

More details
  • No Tracking Cookies: We do not use tracking cookies, analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), or marketing pixels on our website. Therefore, you will not see a cookie consent banner when you visit.
  • Server Logs and Security: To ensure the security and performance of our website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes basic technical connection data. This may include your IP address, browser type (user agent), and request timestamps. This processing is strictly necessary to protect our website from cyber threats and is based on our legitimate interest. For more information on how Cloudflare processes this data, please review their Privacy Policy.
  • Contact Information: If you choose to contact us directly via email, we will only use the information you voluntarily provide (such as your email address) to respond to your inquiry.

5. Data Retention and Security

We only keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy.

More details

We apply the following retention periods:

  • Analytics data: Until consent withdrawal or 25 months of inactivity
  • Advertising identifiers: Until consent withdrawal or 25 months of inactivity
  • Attribution data (Singular): Until consent withdrawal or 25 months of inactivity
  • Customer support correspondence: Until consent withdrawal or 25 months of inactivity

Generally, user-level data is permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymized if you submit a deletion request to us, or automatically if your account shows no activity for a continuous period of 25 months.

6. International Data Transfers

Because we work with global partners, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).

More details

Whenever this happens, we ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection. If the destination country is not recognized by the European Commission as having adequate data protection laws, we rely on legally approved mechanisms, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), to safeguard your information.

7. Children's Privacy

Our games and services are strictly not intended for children. We never knowingly or willingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you are under 16, please do not download or play our games.

More details

In accordance with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13 (or under 16 generally), we will delete it immediately.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Your data belongs to you. Depending on your location, you have specific rights regarding your personal information, including the right to withdraw consent, access your data, and request deletion.

More details
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You can easily opt out of targeted advertising and third-party analytics at any time using the "Privacy Settings" menu inside our games. You can also turn on "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) in your device's system settings.
  • Right of Access and Portability: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and we will provide it in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can ask us to permanently delete your personal data.
  • Right to Rectification: You can request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information we hold about you.
  • Right to Object: Where we process your data based on legitimate interest, you have the right to object to such processing at any time. We will then cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with a Data Protection Authority. As a company based in Germany, our primary supervisory authority is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information).

Supplemental Notice for US Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you reside in California or other US states with similar privacy laws, this section applies to you.

  • Collection and Use of Personal Information: In the prior 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: device identifiers (e.g., IP address, Mobile Advertising IDs), internet or other electronic network activity (e.g., usage data, interactions with ads), and approximate geolocation data. The business purposes for this collection are outlined in Section 2 above.
  • "Selling" or "Sharing" of Data: We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. However, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the disclosure of advertising IDs to third-party ad partners for cross-context behavioral advertising qualifies as "sharing" or a "sale." You can opt out of this by using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" toggle located in the "Privacy Settings" menu of our games.
  • Minors: We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age without opt-in consent.
  • Your Rights: As an eligible US resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate data, the right to opt-out of the sale/sharing of your data, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

If you are located in Brazil, the processing of your personal data is governed by the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD).

  • Legal Bases: We process your data based on the legal bases set forth in the LGPD, which mirror those described in Section 2 (namely: your consent, our legitimate interests, and the performance of a contract).
  • Your Rights: Under the LGPD, you have the right to: confirmation of the existence of processing, access to your data, correction of incomplete/inaccurate data, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, data portability, information about public and private entities with which we have shared data, information about the possibility of denying consent and the consequences thereof, and the right to withdraw consent.
  • Supervisory Authority: You have the right to petition the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD) regarding the processing of your data.
